The sun was trying to peek out from behind the clouds as we snowshoed through the mountains and over this frozen lake but it never quite came out, still a great day and picture, even with no sun.

This glacier lake has been by far the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Breathtaking to get there after 2 hours of hike with icy trails.

As a native New Englander, I’ve spent a decent amount of time in the mountains of New Hampshire, Vermont, and Western Massachusetts. I’ve been hiking and camping since I was just a small kid. Of course, the Appalachian Mountain Range isn’t the tallest or most extreme in the world, but they’re still amazing and I call them home. However, this past September I had the opportunity to travel to Whistler, British Columbia for a company-wide retreat. During which, I experienced a totally different wilderness in the Coast Mountain Range of Canada.

It was a long weekend in BC amd we went camping for a few days. Joffre lakes was one of our climbing destination. This is the middle lake and my favourite among all. This log is a perfect photography spot for climbers!

Fire smoke over Canada creates an unique condition in the middle of the day letting you think it’s 6am. But it’s not and it’s very hot too.

It was a long weekend in BC amd we decided to go camping for a few days. Lillooet lake was where we set up our tent and went climbing around. It was drizzling and foggy which made a scenic view of the lake.

Everytime I go to Pemberton I am always impressed by how the clouds move across the mountains, always so beautiful. Not sure if it is always like that or if I am just lucky with the weather each time I visit, but makes for a great set of photos.

This past long weekend I went up and camped at Nairn Falls, near Pemberton British Columbia. This is me relaxing by the flowing water one night after the kids went to bed.

I just got back from a great weekend up in Whistler. I took this photo Friday night at Lost Lake. The moon was two thirds full but it was totally clear so the moonlight really lit up the lake. I normally do not include people in my landscape photos but decided to pose in this one. What do you think? Do you think it is better with me in the photo or if I stayed out of the way?
